Mayo Clinic Invests US$155 million for the Hospital Expansion & Modernisation in USA

Introduction:

Mayo Clinic invests US$155 million to open Mankato hospital expansion and modernisation in USA.

Features:
The expanded and modernised bed tower not only expands capacity but also introduces new capabilities crucial for enhanced patient care.

This project involves adding three new floors on top of an existing two-storey building at the Mankato campus, which currently houses the emergency department, Andreas Cancer Centre, and Speciality Clinic foyer. The new structure will accommodate 121 additional hospital beds along with several other enhancements.

The project encompasses the creation of a new and expanded intensive care unit and progressive care unit, along with the establishment of a fresh medical-surgical unit and a modern family birth centre.
